Project Support A Student
PSAS is a local mission outreach of Pastor J Ministries in partnership with the Okaloosa County School District and guidance counselors of the various elementary, middle, and high schools across the county.
We work with school officials in identifying students who are underprivileged and families who need assistance with basic needs their children require for the opportunity of a successful school year.
With the help of the local schools, we get the necessary information from the students identified to provide them with at least 2 brand new outfits, a new pair of shoes and a gift card to assist with their own purchase of needed undergarments.
All these items are packed into a new backpack and delivered to
the school the student is registered where it is discreetly given to them by their guidance counselor. Each backpack complete with clothes and shoes costs an estimated $250.00.
